Full Product Description
The Super-Dry SAF-375 Compressed Air Filter, SKU 340-130, provides reliable compressed air filtration for larger industrial air systems. Designed for airflow requirements up to approximately 375 SCFM, the SAF-375 has a published capacity of 370 SCFM at 100 PSIG and uses 1-1/2″ NPT inlet and outlet connections.
Super-Dry SAF Series filters are designed to remove up to 99% of contaminants present in compressed air. Cleaner compressed air helps extend air-tool service life, maintain the performance of pneumatic machinery and control systems, and keep downstream piping and valves free from contamination.
The SAF-375 accepts Super-Dry E-375 filter elements in three filtration grades, allowing the filter housing to be configured around the air-quality requirements of the application. The housing also includes a float drain and differential pressure indicator, making condensate management and filter-condition monitoring easier.

Grade X – General Purpose / Particulate
The Grade X element is designed for general-purpose compressed air filtration and particulate removal.
- Solid particles: 1.0 micron
- Oil carryover: 0.5 ppm
- Pressure drop: 0.44 PSI
Grade X is a good choice for general plant air, pneumatic equipment protection, and applications requiring removal of larger particulate contaminants.
Grade Y – High Efficiency / Oil Removal
The Grade Y element provides high-efficiency coalescing filtration for applications requiring substantially cleaner compressed air.
- Solid particles: 0.01 micron
- Oil carryover: 0.01 ppm
- Pressure drop: 1.74 PSI
Grade Y is appropriate where fine particulate and oil aerosol removal are required.
Grade Z – Activated Carbon / Odor & Taste
The Grade Z activated carbon element is designed for applications requiring extremely low residual oil contamination as well as odor and taste removal.
- Oil carryover: 0.003 ppm
- Pressure drop: 1.31 PSI
Super-Dry identifies the three available element grades as Grade X particulate, Grade Y high efficiency, and Grade Z activated carbon filtration.
Choosing the Correct Filter Grade
Choose Grade X for general-purpose particulate filtration and basic protection of downstream equipment.
Choose Grade Y when fine particulate and oil aerosol removal are required.
Choose Grade Z when activated carbon filtration is needed for extremely low residual oil levels and odor or taste removal.
For applications requiring progressively cleaner compressed air, multiple SAF Series filters with different element grades can be installed in sequence.
