Tank Mounted Two Stage Reciprocating Air Compressor

Tank Mounted Two Stage Reciprocating Air Compressors are the most popular type of air compressor.  This type of compressor uses at a minimum two cylinders to produce compressed air.  The first cylinder which is the larger of the two, will compress air up to around 40 psi depending on the manufacturer.  Air then travels through inter cooler tubes into the second stage.  The second stage is much small and compresses the air the rest of the way up to the rated pressure.  Air is then discharged into the air receiver tank for use.  Common accessories include; tank drains due to the condensate and air compressor makes, Low Oil Sensor which will shut the compressor down in a low oil situation, Magnetic Starter which has the contactors and overloads designed for the compressor, and after coolers which help to cool the air as air coming out of a reciprocating air compressor is extremely hot.   We are proud to offer these premium manufacturers; Champion, Chicago Pneumatic, FS Curtis, Industrial Gold,  and Powerex.
