The Altec AIR HR6 Heatless Desiccant Air Dryer is designed to deliver ultra-dry compressed air for systems up to 25 SCFM, making it an excellent solution for small industrial compressed air systems and critical point-of-use drying applications. Using a twin-tower heatless regenerative desiccant design, the HR6 continuously removes moisture from compressed air while regenerating the desiccant in the alternate tower, ensuring a consistent supply of clean, dry air.
With a standard -40°F pressure dew point, the HR6 protects pneumatic tools, instrumentation, spray equipment, and manufacturing processes from moisture contamination that can cause corrosion, freezing, and equipment failure. The compact footprint allows this dryer to be installed easily in compressor rooms, equipment enclosures, or directly at the point of use where moisture removal is critical.
The HR6 is engineered for durability and long-term reliability. Spring-loaded desiccant beds help extend desiccant life, while the fully re-pressurizing tower design ensures steady outlet pressure and flow during tower switching cycles.
