The Jorc AIR-SAVER is an automatic, programmable compressed air shut-off valve designed to stop costly air loss when your facility is not operating.
Every compressed air system develops leaks. Pipe connections, drains, hoses, fittings, tools, and other components can continue consuming compressed air long after the workday ends. The AIR-SAVER installs at the air receiver outlet and automatically isolates the stored compressed air from the rest of the system during evenings, weekends, shutdowns, or other non-production periods.
Using its built-in programmable timer, the AIR-SAVER can open before your shift begins and close after production ends. This helps keep the receiver pressurized, reduces unnecessary compressor operation, lowers energy consumption, and eliminates the need to manually open and close the main air valve every day.
Jorc specifically designed the AIR-SAVER's slow valve rotation to prevent rapid pressure changes when opening or closing the compressed air system.
Choose the AIR-SAVER configuration that matches your compressed air piping and electrical supply:

Voltage
These ratings and available configurations are specified by Jorc for the AIR-SAVER.
The Jorc AIR-SAVER is an excellent addition to compressed air systems in:
Turning the compressor off at the end of the day does not stop air leaks.
Without an isolation valve, the compressed air stored in your receiver can continue escaping through leaks throughout the piping system. By morning, the receiver may be empty and the compressor must refill the entire system before production begins.
The Jorc AIR-SAVER isolates the receiver from the downstream air system automatically, helping preserve stored compressed air for the next operating period. It also prevents the compressor from cycling during nights and weekends simply to replace air being lost through leaks.
That translates into:
The most common installation point is at the outlet of the compressed air receiver, between the receiver and the plant distribution piping. This allows the AIR-SAVER to isolate the stored compressed air from downstream leaks when the system is not required.
It can also be used to isolate specific sections or zones of larger compressed air systems.
Yes. The built-in programmable timer controls when the valve opens and closes. It can be programmed around your normal production schedule for up to 16 operating cycles per day, seven days per week.
Yes. The AIR-SAVER has a minimum pressure rating of 0 PSI and a maximum operating pressure of 230 PSI.
The ball valve can be manually opened or closed during an electrical power failure, so you are not locked out of your compressed air system.
No. Jorc designed the AIR-SAVER with slow ball-valve rotation specifically to minimize rapid pressure changes and help avoid water hammer when the system is opened or closed.
Select the model based on two items:
Compressed air is expensive to produce. Letting it escape through leaks all night and all weekend is even more expensive.
The Jorc AIR-SAVER gives your compressed air system an automatic off switch, helping preserve stored air, reduce unnecessary compressor operation, and cut energy waste without relying on someone to remember to close a valve at the end of every shift.
Set the schedule once and let the AIR-SAVER handle the rest.
