Tsunami RSD-035 35 CFM Refrigerated Air Dryer – 3/4″ NPT, 115V

Short Product Description

The Tsunami RSD-035 Refrigerated Air Dryer provides dependable moisture removal for compressed air systems up to 35 CFM. Designed for workshops, automotive facilities, manufacturing, and light industrial applications, the RSD-035 helps protect pneumatic equipment, air piping, and finished products from moisture-related problems.

Featuring 115V single-phase power, 3/4″ NPT connections, an integrated automatic condensate drain, and a compact design, the RSD-035 delivers reliable refrigerated air treatment with minimal operator attention.

Full Product Description

The Tsunami RSD-035 Refrigerated Air Dryer is engineered to remove excess water vapor from compressed air before moisture can reach downstream piping, tools, machinery, and production equipment.

Rated for 35 CFM, the RSD-035 cools compressed air to condense water vapor from the airstream. The condensed moisture is separated and automatically discharged through the dryer's integrated condensate drain system.

The RSD Series uses an air-to-air heat exchanger to pre-cool incoming compressed air while reheating the treated air before it exits the dryer. This efficient design provides effective moisture removal while keeping pressure drop to less than 1 PSI.

Designed for everyday operation, the RSD-035 operates on 115V / 1 Phase / 60 Hz power and requires minimal routine maintenance once properly installed.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the airflow rating of the Tsunami RSD-035?

The RSD-035 is rated for 35 CFM under its rated operating conditions.

What dew point does the RSD-035 provide?

The Tsunami RSD Series is designed to provide an approximate 37.4°F to 50°F refrigerated dew point, depending on operating conditions.

Does the RSD-035 include an automatic drain?

Yes. The dryer includes an integrated electronically controlled condensate drain that automatically removes collected moisture.

What electrical power does the RSD-035 require?

The RSD-035 operates on 115V, single-phase, 60 Hz power.

What size air connections does the RSD-035 use?

The RSD-035 uses 3/4″ NPT inlet and outlet connections.

What is the maximum pressure rating?

The RSD-035 has a maximum rated inlet pressure of 232 PSI.

Do I need a prefilter before the dryer?

Yes. Tsunami recommends upstream filtration to help prevent solid particles and oily residue from accumulating in the heat exchanger. A prefilter is also required under Tsunami's RSD warranty requirements.

How should I size a refrigerated air dryer?

Dryer sizing should account for airflow, inlet pressure, inlet air temperature, ambient temperature, and desired outlet dew point. Conditions that differ from the dryer's rated conditions can change its effective airflow capacity.
