The Tsunami Pure-7 Pure Series Regenerative Air Dryer is a compact, wall-mounted compressed air treatment system designed to provide exceptionally clean, dry compressed air for demanding shop, production, and point-of-use applications.
Rated for up to 25 CFM and sized for approximately 7.5 HP compressor systems, the Pure-7 combines Tsunami's integrated two-stage pre-filtration system with twin regenerative desiccant towers to remove liquid water, compressor oil, aerosols, particulates, and water vapor from the compressed air stream.
The Pure-7 can provide dew points down to -80°F and relative humidity levels down to approximately 0.01% RH, making it an excellent choice for applications where moisture can negatively affect paint quality, pneumatic equipment, manufacturing processes, or finished products.
Before compressed air enters the regenerative dryer, it passes through two stages of filtration:
After pre-filtration, the compressed air enters the twin regenerative desiccant towers. One tower actively removes water vapor while the second tower regenerates using a small amount of previously dried compressed air.
Approximately every two minutes, the dryer automatically switches towers. This allows one molecular sieve desiccant bed to regenerate while the other remains in service, providing a continuous supply of exceptionally dry compressed air.
The Pure-7 uses approximately 1.25 CFM of regeneration air, with each tower drying for approximately 120 seconds before the dryer switches towers.
