A natural byproduct of compressed air production is condensate. This condensate collects throughout your compressed air system in aftercoolers, air dryers, filters, drain points, and air receiver tanks. Because it typically contains compressor lubricant and other contaminants, condensate cannot legally be discharged directly into the environment or most sewer systems without treatment.

Oil-water separators are designed to separate compressor oil from condensate, allowing the treated water to be safely discharged in accordance with EPA guidelines and local wastewater regulations.
